More Fire Weather Ahead For Malibu
Malibu continues to see high fire risk weather conditions with gusty winds and low humidity.

MALIBU, CA — Malibu will see more high fire risk weather through the weekend as gusty winds and dry air create dangerous conditions.
Malibu's red flag warning expired Wednesday evening, but the city remains under elevated fire weather conditions through Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. The city will enter another period of fire weather watch at 1 a.m. Saturday through 10 p.m. Saturday.
The city could see winds between 50-70 miles per hour in the mountains, which will be strongest through Thursday and into Friday night and Saturday. Combined with dry air, the wind is expected to create potential for fast-spreading wildfire.
