MALIBU, CA — Once again, beachgoers on Monday were advised to avoid swimming at a number of Los Angeles County beaches, including one in Malibu.

A bacteria warning was issued for Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu.

The warning was a result of increased bacteria levels in the water after county testing. Unsafe bacteria levels means residents should avoid swimming, surfing and playing in the water.
