3 South Bay Establishments Caught Selling Booze To Minors: MBPD

Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and El Seguno police conducted a minor decoy sting and three local establishments were cited.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and El Segundo Police Departments conducted a minor decoy sting in the three cities last Friday and three establishments were caught selling alcohol to minors, MBPD announced.

A decoy was sent to try to buy alcoholic beverages at 16 establishments within the cities that sell alcohol for consumption on premises, and two stores were cited for selling alcohol to a minor. A decoy was also sent to try to purchase alcoholic beverages at 22 establishments that sell alcohol for consumption off premises, and one of the stores was cited for selling alcohol to a minor.

Employees working in the following establishments were cited for providing alcoholic beverages to a minor:

  • CVS Pharmacy (1570 Rosecrans Ave., Manhattan Beach)
  • Cambria Hotel (199 N. Continental Ave., El Segundo)
  • Tavern on Main (123 Main St., El Segundo)
