• Los Angeles Security Guard Jenia Resha Belt Faces Murder Count in Fatal Crash That Killed Braun Levi (smmirror.com) — An 18-year-old Loyola High School student was fatally struck while crossing Sepulveda Boulevard in Manhattan Beach, and prosecutors have now charged a Los Angeles security guard with murder and gross vehicular manslaughter. The case, still under investigation by Manhattan Beach Police, has prompted the victim’s mother to call for tougher statewide DUI sentencing laws as the defendant awaits a January 13 arraignment in Torrance.
