Sure, we see & take photos of the Manhattan Beach Pier all the time. But in this shot, it's photographer noticed something a bit different.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Juxtaposition. A comet. What do you see in this photo?
Photographer Deborah Blair Porter was taking this shot of the Manhattan Beach Pier — as so many people do — and then she noticed something. Or did she? Said Porter, "I thought It rather looked like a comet was about to land right off MB's shore! It also has that odd juxtaposition I often see in my photos at the pier where one side is grey and the other blue."
