The Gift Of Time: What To Know About Free Parking For The Holidays In Manhattan Beach
Visitors can now enjoy free parking in the city, with some limitations.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Walking the streets of downtown Manhattan Beach, you may notice decorative red bags draped over city parking meters.
Those bags, though, are more than mere decoration.
Upon a closer look, the signs read: “Happy Holidays! Free parking.”

“It’s tiiimmeee,” the city wrote in a Facebook post.
Visitors can now enjoy free 2-hour parking at city meters and parking lots through Dec. 25, according to the city.

Free parking does not apply to beach lots owned by Los Angeles County, such as the State Pier or El Porto/26th Street, the city said.
