Illegal Skimming Device Found on BofA ATM in Manhattan Beach
Manhattan Beach Police Department says to check for fraudulent activity if you've used an ATM at the Bank of America on Sepulveda Boulevard.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — An illegal skimming device was found on an ATM today at the Bank of America at 3016 N. Sepulveda Boulevard. Manhattan Beach Police responded to a call ar0und 12:26 p.m. and were alerted to the illegal skimming device by an ATM service technician who was on site.
The service technician told police he'd been notified that one of the ATMs stopped working at approximately 10 p.m. the night before, and that prior the notification and subsequent discover of an illegal skimming device, the ATMs at the bank had been last serviced on Saturday, July 18 and they were functioning properly.
MBPD is encouraging customers who may have used any of the ATMs at this Bank of American on or after Saturday, July 18 to check for any fraudulent activity on their bank accounts. If any fraudulent activity is discovered, you are encouraged to contact your financial institution immediately, said MBPD Public Information Officer Chris Ineguez. And if you have been a victim of fraud after using the ATMs at this location on or after Saturday, July 18 and have contacted your financial institution, to please call MBPD at (310) 545-4566.
