Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks Show Returns this Weekend

Spectators are encouraged to bring blankets, beach chairs, and picnic dinner​ and to stake out the perfect spot to watch the show.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA -- The Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks is back for the 28th year Sunday, Dec. 11, beginning at 3:30 p.m. with the fireworks set to start at 7 p.m.

The event includes music, a snow park and a community sing-along. As per tradition, the Hyperion Outfall Serenaders play at 3:30 p.m. and the snow park opens at 6 p.m.

The award-winning Mira Costa Jazz Ensemble will play at 5 p.m. and the community holiday music sing-along with Joe’s Band starts at 6 p.m.

The event will take place rain or shine, organizers said.

Blankets are allowed onto the street sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. after authorities deemed it safe to enter the street.
