Torrance Tiger Squadron Fly Over In Honor Of Fourth Of July

Tiger Squadron from Torrance Airport is holding an Independence Day fly over to celebrate the Fourth of July. Get in position to watch it.

TORRANCE, CA — Folks out and about or who enjoy the roar and fascination of a fly over will want to get close enough to Torrance by 2:30 p.m. to see the Tiger Squadron, based out of Torrance Airport, fly over Torrance Boulevard. around 2:30 p.m., according to the City of Torrance. The Tiger Squadron will begin at Torrance Boulevard and Western Avenue at 2:30 p.m., fly west above Torrance Boulevard, loop east at Torrance Beach, and turn north with a pass over Torrance Memorial Hospital, before turning to Zamperini Field.

According to their website, Tiger Squadron is a precision formation flying team and aircraft display team based in Southern California that flies vintage warbirds. Their "team is made up of military pilots, instructors, airline pilots, and experienced civilian pilots with thousands of hours of combined experience, an unblemished safety record, and all required formation credentials."
