Hot Tub No-Show, Drunken Teens and Whole Foodies’ Hot Rods

March 12

11:49 a.m. – The owner of a brown Audi called police to report that a blue Toyota pickup truck struck his car but was denying responsibility and went inside the Hair n’ Joy in the 300 block of Miller Avenue. An officer went to the scene and said it was unclear if a collision had occurred.

11:57 a.m. – A resident of Alvarado Ave. purchased a hot tub from a company in New York for $3,200 but it never arrived. Police took a report.

March 13

11:51 a.m. – An employee at the Whole Foods Market on East Blithedale Ave. reported that the driver of a Mercedes, also an employee at the store, struck his silver Porsche Boxer in the parking lot but declined to provide his insurance and contact info. Police noticed minor scratches on the Porsche’s bumper. They exchanged info.

4:54 p.m. – An officer spotted a car pulled over at Camino Alto and Sycamore Ave. and contacted the driver, who had stopped to retrieve his wallet and other belongings, which he’d left on his roof before he drove off.

5:26 p.m. – A resident went to the Mill Valley police station on Hamilton Dr. to show police a photo he’d taken of a car that was allegedly being driven recklessly in the area.

8:16 p.m. – Police were called to the area of Fern Canyon Rd and Summit Ave. on a report that at least a half-dozen teens, both boys and girls, had parked their cars in the area and were “yelling, screaming and stumbling around.” The person who called police was worried that the teens were drinking and would soon be driving. Police arrested two of the teens on suspicion of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

March 15

7:42 a.m. – A resident of Bayview Ave. reported that two cars were burglarized during the previous night, one of which had its window broken and the other that was unlocked. Four bags with miscellaneous items were stolen, according to the report.

March 16

1:57 a.m. – Police received a report that a male patron at the 2am Club “was getting out of control with staff.”

6:37 p.m. – A resident reported seeing a blue BMW traveling at about 90mph on Ashford Ave. and Lomita Drive. Police check the area but were unable to locate the car.

March 17

11:52 a.m. – A passerby reported a possible burglary at the Shelterpoint Business Center at 591 Redwood Hwy. after seeing a window smashed and the door open. The person who reported the incident said it wasn’t clear if anyone was inside. Police took a report.
