Mill Valley’s Measure G An Apparent Winner

The $194 million school bond measure has the backing of nearly two thirds of ballots cast in an unofficial count.

MILL VALLEY, CA — Mill Valley voters overwhelmingly backed a $194 million school bond measure, according to the Marin County elections website.

As of around 11 p.m. Tuesday, Measure G received 2,868 Yes votes (66.1 percent), with 1,468 voters casting their ballots in opposition to the measure.

Measure G requires 55 percent of the vote for approval.

The measure would levy an additional $26 in property taxes per $100,000 in assessed value.

The funds will be used for classroom upgrades, science labs and learning technology, accessibility improvements and infrastructure repairs and upgrades.
