Mill Valley Traffic Stop Leads To Meth Bust
More than an ounce of methamphetamine was found during a search of a vehicle stopped for mechanical violations, authorities said.
MILL VALLEY, CA — A traffic stop early Thursday morning in unincorporated Mill Valley led to two arrests and the seizure of more than an ounce of methamphetamine, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office said.
A deputy at around 1 a.m. pulled over a vehicle in the community of Strawberry ffor mechanical violations, and a check of the driver revealed a felony warrant, the Sheriff’s Office said.
During a search of the vehicle the deputy found drug paraphernalia (in plain view, inside the vehicle), methamphetamine, and metal knuckles, and a search of the passenger yielded over an ounce of methamphetamine, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Both the driver and the passenger were arrested on suspicion of multiple violations and taken to Marin County Jail.
