Tam High Boys, Girls Soccer Teams Remain Unbeaten

The boys and girls teams are a combined 6-0-3 three weeks into the season.

MILL VALLEY, CA — Tamalpais High School’s boys and girls soccer teams are both unbeaten through the first three weeks of their seasons.

The boys team defeated Marin Catholic 3-1 Wednesday in a Marin County Athletic League game for its third win to start the season.

Jasper Kunz scored a goal and had one assist and Adam Leikin and Schuyler Hoeberichts each scored a goal to lead the Red-tailed Hawks.

Trevor Islam and Sam Reade each had one assist for Tamalpais.

The girls team (3-0-3, 2-0-1 MCAL) played to a scoreless tie with Monte Vista of Danville in a nonleague game Wednesday.

Tamalpais’ Kendra Weisman turned back 10 shots.

The senior goaltending standout has 45 saves and has allowed just two goals through five complete games.

Maren Jones and Sydney Boyd each lead the Red-tailed Hawks with three goals and two assists on the season and Ariana Greenberg and freshman Sabine Tzyko each have two.
