Tam High Drops Key Rematch With MCAL Frontrunner

MILL VALLEY, CA — Tamalpais High experienced a 1-0 lost to first-place Branson in a pivotal Marin County Athletic League game Thursday.

Senior goalie Kendra Weisman gave up one goal after earning the shutout in a 1-0 nonleague win against Branson on Nov. 30.

The Red-tailed Hawks were coming off an 11-0 win over San Marin on Tuesday in which Ariana Greenberg had her first career hat trick. Yuna McCormack scored two goals and had three assists and freshman Addie Covey had two goals.

Greenberg also had an assist. Her seven points for the game was her career best.

Weisman had one save splitting time with freshman standout Emily McMahon, who also had one save in 40 minutes. McMahon has three shutouts on the season and is yet to give up a goal in 280 minutes.

Maren Jones scored one goal and had two assists, Sydney Boyd scored a goal and had an assist and Weisman added a goal for Tamalpais.
