MISSION VIEJO, CA—This week, Mission Viejo City Council members reviewed a potential plan to build a performing arts center. An early study was presented during Tuesday's regular session of the council meeting to review a plan for the center.

While many sites were considered, the council appeared to narrow in on the CVS or Big Lots buildings in the Marguerite Parkway Village Center. Other sites include the Civic Center parking lot, Garden Plaza, the Elks Lodge Parking Lot, the Pacific Hills Park, and more. Those were largely discounted, as construction costs could exceed $113 million.

Mission Viejo Mayor Pro Tem Bob Reusch reminded all that nothing is set in stone.
