The subsequent pursuit went through the city of Menlo Park, where officials say one of the passengers fled from the SUV on foot, escaping into the creek area near Alma & Willow Road.

The suspect vehicle continued a short distance further, and police watched it stop in the area of the 100 block of San Mateo Dr. in Menlo Park.

Police say the driver and second passenger attempted to flee but were chased down, and arrested for robbery. Both have been identified as juveniles.

Meanwhile, police say a perimeter was set up around the creek area where the first passenger had fled. Officers from Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, and East Palo Alto were on scene, assisting in the manhunt for the suspect.

Police say that despite an extensive search that involved the six agencies and a K9, the third suspect remains at large.

He is described as a white or Hispanic light-skinned male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black-and-white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Mountain View Police Detective Beraha at 650-903-6344.
