
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — At least one person was killed in a crash on US Highway 101 in Mountain View early Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash snarled southbound traffic four hours, right through the morning commute.
The crash happened shortly before 4 a.m. and blocked the high-occupancy vehicle off-ramp
for state Highway 85. A sig-alert was issued at 4:15 as multiple lanes were blocked.
CHP officers said a woman was crushed in a black Ford Edge.
