Motorcyclist Critically Injured In Mountain View Crash

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA —A motorcyclist in Mountain View was involved in a solo collision Tuesday and is in critical condition, according to police.

Just before 2 p.m., officers were sent to the area of Shoreline Boulevard north of Villa Street to respond to a solo motorcycle crash. Once there, officers found an unconscious motorcyclist lying in the roadway.

The motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition, police said Tuesday evening.

Northbound Shoreline Boulevard north of Villa Street was closed while police collected evidence and interviewed potential witnesses.

The cause of this collision has yet to be determined. Neither drugs nor alcohol appear to have been a factor, police said.
