Mountain View Academy Hosts Career Day

Alumni among the professionals who returned to speak to students.

About 150 Mountain View Academy students got a sense of what being an adult would be like during the school's fourth annual career day last week.

"This career day is designed for professionals who have a bachelors, masters or doctorate," said Principal Dan Meidinger. "It's designed to encourage kids to set their sights out there."

All ninth through 12th graders participated and had to interview at least five professionals, who worked in companies ranging from Apple to Oracle and even the State Department.
