There will be intermittent lane closures through Saturday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Motorists may experience some nighttime delays this week on portions of U.S. Highway 101 and the Capital Expressway in San Jose as crews complete work on a Highway 101 improvement project, according to Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority officials.

There will be intermittent lane closures through Saturday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 between the Yerba Buena Road and Tully Road interchanges and to the westbound Capitol Expressway off-ramp.

Closures will also be in effect on the eastbound Capitol Expressway to the northbound Highway 101 on-ramp and in the westbound direction to the southbound Highway 101 on-ramp, according to the VTA.
