Notre Dame High School alumna Karina Lipe has been selected for the renowned Television Academy Foundation Internship program. She is one of 40 students chosen by Television Academy members from across the country for the 2025 Summer Internship program. The Foundation offers paid internships at top Hollywood studios and production companies annually to college students nationwide.

Additionally, Lipe was selected for the prestigious Bob Bennett Future Leaders program. She is one of just 10 students selected, amongst the Foundation’s 2025 summer interns, for the initiative. The Bob Bennett Future Leaders program, established by a gift from the Robert M. & Marjie A. Bennett Foundation, provides financial support for interns as well as professional development and leadership training. To be considered for the program, applicants must submit a 350-word essay on what innovation and leadership mean to them and how they plan to apply those qualities in their internship and future careers in television.

Lipe is a 2025 graduate of Scripps College in Claremont, California, who majored in
theatre with a minor in psychology. She will be an intern in the casting department this summer at Magical Elves in Los Angeles through the Foundation’s program. Magical Elves is a leading producer of award-winning, non-fiction content for domestic and international television markets, known for Emmy Award-winning hits like Bravo’s Top Chef as well as the Peabody Award-winning Project Runway.
