Rev those engines and polish that chrome, the Murrieta Rod Run team has great things in store for residents and entrants in October 2025.
Murrieta, CA — Mark your calendars and shine those wheels! The Murrieta Rod Run is set to roll back into Historic Downtown Murrieta on Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11, 2025, bringing the sights, sounds, and spirit of one of Southern California’s favorite classic car events.
The Drifters Car Club of Southern California hosts the Murrieta Rod Run event annually, keeping it free and family-friendly.
Each year, the Murrieta Rod Run draws thousands of car lovers, locals, and visitors to enjoy a stunning lineup of pre-1980 classic cars, live music, vendors, and community fun while supporting Oak Grove Center.

Friday night, enjoy the crowd-favorite Cruise Night from 4 to 8 p.m., where hundreds of beautifully restored hot rods and classic cars rumble through Downtown Murrieta in a high-octane parade of nostalgia complete with food, vendors, and local restaurants.
"On Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, the opening ceremony starts at 9 AM. The streets
transform into a car-lover’s paradise, showcasing timeless automotive craftsmanship during the official "Show & Shine."

Attendees can stroll through rows of gleaming cars, enjoy live entertainment, grab a bite from local food vendors and restaurants, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
More than just a car show, the Murrieta Rod Run is a celebration of community. All
proceeds support and sustain Oak Grove Center programs, helping at-risk and special
needs youth to heal, learn, grow, and thrive.
Vehicle registration opens Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 9 AM, and space is limited. Owners of eligible pre-1980 vehicles are encouraged to register early at www.murrietarodrun.com.
