2 Men Accused Of Grand Theft From A PG&E Facility

Police recovered stolen property and burglary tools following the theft in American Canyon.

AMERICAN CANYON, CA — American Canyon police arrested two men Sunday night for allegedly trespassing and trying to steal from a PG&E facility.

Police were alerted to trespassers at the facility shortly before 7 p.m. though security surveillance.
One man wore a black ski mask and had what appeared to be a car jack.

Responding officers found a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle — a silver and black Ford Fusion, headed east on Green Island Road, not far from the facility.

Police pulled the vehicle over and found a dirt compacter belonging to PG&E inside the car. They also found burglary tools, including copper cutters and bolt cutters.

Police said they also found two BB handguns, gloves, and two walkie-talkies.

The vehicle's occupants were identified as 38-year-old Franklin Morales, from San Pablo, and 30-year-old Jose Carrero Rosas, from Concord.

The suspects' clothing allegedly matched descriptions from security guards.

Both men were arrested and booked into Napa County Jail on suspicion of possession of burglary tools, grand theft, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
