Self-Serve Sandbags In Napa Until Monday To Protect Against Deluge

Napa County officials are warning residents that storms will bring heavy rain, strong winds, and an increased risk of power outages.

NAPA VALLEY, CA — Lock it down and get your rain gear ready, Napa, for multiple storm systems expected to beat down on the county starting today.

Napa County officials warned that storms will bring heavy rain, strong winds, and an increased risk of power outages.

The most significant impact is expected between Sunday and Dec. 26, with the strongest storm arriving Christmas Eve.

In preparation, the City of Napa set up self-serve sandbag operations until Monday.

Sandbag pickups are available:

Hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Dates: Dec. 19-Dec. 22
Location: 720 Jackson St., Napa
