$303K Contract, City Manager Agrees To Renew His Stay

City manager Jason Holley will continue as American Canyon's top administrator after vote Tuesday.

NAPA VALLEY, CA —American Canyon's city manager will remain in place. Jason Holley accepted a six-year contract on Tuesday that will allow him to continue his tenure as city manager.

Holley has served as city manager since October 2017 and, prior to that appointment, he worked as the city’s public works director.

As chief administrator for American Canyon, the city manager provides direction for all areas of city government, providing information and recommendations to the city council and direction to staff.

“I'm really excited about the opportunity to continue on in this role and honored that the council would like me to do that,” Holley said Tuesday after the vote.

Holley will receive a base salary of $303,000.

Holley has taken the city "under his wing," councilmember Brando Cruz said. “I really think that he's well-deserving of this compensation package and totally recommend it for him."
