3 Arrested, 1 Vehicle Towed at Napa DUI Enforcement

Napa Police Department arrested three motorists for suspected DUI during a crackdown Saturday night.

Five Officers worked this operation from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., resulting in 54 vehicle stops.

During those 54 vehicle stops, officers noticed 10 drivers admitted to or displayed symptoms of alcohol consumption. Officers evaluated those 10 drivers and subsequently arrested three of them for DUI.

One of those drivers that was arrested had a suspended driver’s license from a prior DUI and his vehicle was towed and impounded for 30 days.

Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
