4 Injured In Hot Air Balloon Hard Landing In St. Helena
Seventeen people were aboard the balloon that left Santa Rosa and intended to return there, according to the FAA.

NORTH BAY, CA — A hot air balloon that made a hard landing in St. Helena Sunday injured four people on board, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said Tuesday. Seventeen people were aboard the balloon that left Santa Rosa and intended to return there, Gregor said.
Winds blew the balloon east, and the pilot was setting the balloon down between a vineyard and a house when it landed hard near White Sulphur Spring Road in St. Helena around noon.
Cal Fire fire prevention specialist Bruce Lang said the injuries were minor. In a separate balloon incident, three people were injured April 1 when a hot air balloon hit a power line near Yountville, according to Cal Fire.
