Ledesma was arrested and booked into Napa County jail on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon likely to cause great bodily injury and negligent discharge of a firearm. He remained behind bars Monday without bail, jail records showed.

Police did not say how or if Ledesma and the victim knew each other, nor was a possible motive disclosed.
