• Local Man Charged In Child Pornography Investigation (patch.com) — Napa County authorities have arrested and charged a 64-year-old local man in connection with a child pornography investigation centered in Napa. Deputies took him into custody in American Canyon, and he now remains at the Napa County Department of Corrections with bail set at $100,000.
   

• SHINEcast in Napa Valley is making mental health the focus and teenagers the spokespeople (pressdemocrat.com) — Napa teens are leading a new season of SHINEcast, a locally produced mental health podcast recorded at the Napa Valley Education Foundation and supported by Napa nonprofits. The all-female hosting team from Vintage and American Canyon high schools tackles topics like holiday stress, cultural pressures, and relationships, and is helping promote a youth wellness conference planned for April 2026.
   

• Group with ties to H Mart buys site of shuttered Kohl's store in Fremont (mercurynews.com) — Napa shoppers are affected by Kohl’s decision to permanently close its local store, part of a broader round of California shutdowns that also hit Fremont, Mountain View, Pleasanton, and San Rafael. In Fremont, the now-vacant Kohl’s building has been sold for $18.3 million to a buyer linked to H Mart’s CEO and major real estate interests, hinting at possible future redevelopment.
