Britney Spears' Ex Faces Extradition To Napa On Felony Charges: Report
Jason Allen Alexander is facing Napa County charges for grand theft and buying and receiving stolen property.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — Britney Spears’ troubled ex is facing Napa County charges for grand theft and buying and receiving stolen property, The San Francisco Chronicle reports.
But Jason Allen Alexander, who was briefly married to the pop star in 2004, has other legal troubles in Southern California and can’t be held to answer to the Napa charges just yet, according to the report.
He was charged in connection with allegations he crashed his ex-wife’s Ventura County wedding over the weekend that preclude his extradition to Napa, the report said.

Alexander, 40, is facing felony stalking charges in connection with the Ventura County incident. He pleaded not guilty to all charges Monday.
He was being held on $100,000 bail as of Monday, The Associated Press reports. A bail hearing was scheduled to be held Wednesday.

The Napa charges are no big rush. They go back to 2015, The Chronicle reports.
“They can’t release him because he has an active warrant in Napa County,” Napa County spokesperson Henry Wofford told The Chronicle.
“Once his time is served, our goal is to go to Ventura County and transport him back.”
But if Mathew Rosengart has his way, Alexander won’t see Wine Country anytime soon. Spears’ attorney told reporters outside the hearing room Monday that he’s pushing for a tough prosecution in the Ventura County case.
“He’s going to — I hope, and I pledged my support — be very vigorously prosecuted,” Rosengart said.
“It’s a very serious matter. This was more than just a quote ‘wedding crash.’ This was an intrusion.”
