Brush Fire, Power Outage Affects Napa, Solano Counties
A fire near downed power lines initially affected 150 PG&E customers in the city of Napa and 50 more in Suisun City.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Fire crews contained a two-acre blaze in the area of downed power lines in Napa County early Tuesday morning, according to Cal Fire and PG&E officials. The blaze was first reported at about 11:20 p.m. Monday south of the intersection of Wooden Valley Road and Wooden Valley Cross Road, not far from the Solano County line, a Cal Fire dispatcher said.
PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said crews are at the scene working to restore power to 150 customers in the city of Napa and 50 more in Suisun City.
According to Guidi, a large oak tree knocked down the power lines, but the personnel on scene haven't determined if the fallen lines — which were in the vicinity of the blaze — sparked the fire.
