Calistoga Library To Close Temporarily For Maintenance
Wood flooring, a portion of which is original to the library since 1924, will be refinished.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — The Calistoga Library will be temporarily closed for up to one month beginning Tuesday, September 5th, 2023. This scheduled closure will allow time to prepare, sand, seal and refinish the wood flooring throughout the library, a portion of which is original to the 1924 building.

Potters Custom Floors is the vendor doing the project. The estimated cost for the repair and refurbishing of the floors is approximately $14,500.
“We wanted to get this project completed ahead of the centennial commemoration activities planned for 2024,” said Anthony Halstead, director of library services. "We are excited to celebrate this milestone achievement and for the library to continue being a vibrant part of our community for the next 100 years.”
