Caltrans 30-Day Detours Start Today

NAPA VALLEY, CA — R-121 will be closed from Burndale Rd to Eighth St East during October while crews make upgrades to the Arroyo Seco Bridge.

This is a 2-lane shoulderless bridge spanning Schellville Creek east of Eighth Street.

Caltrans advises motorists to use Napa Road to Eighth Street East to avoid clogging the smaller county roads in the area.

All traffic, especially commercial vehicles, should follow detours.

Work is scheduled to end 5 a.m. on Oct. 31.
