NORTH BAY, CA — Caltrans has scheduled a nighttime full closure of westbound State Route 37 between state Highway 37 in Vallejo and state Highway 121 in Sonoma County for Thursday night, May 2, and has postponed a 55-hour eastbound closure that was set for this weekend for an ongoing major pavement repair project.

Because of unfavorable weather and high winds last weekend, some of the weekend's work on westbound Sr-37 had to be postponed. It will now take place starting at 9 p.m. Thursday, May 2 until 4 a.m. Friday, May 3.

To ensure the safety of workers and motorists, Caltrans needs to close westbound lanes from Mare Island to Sears Point to complete the work. Detours will be in place.
