Drainage Project In Napa To Close Northbound Highway 29 Shoulder
Caltrans also advised of single-lane closures that will impact the on- and off-ramps at Lincoln Avenue.
NAPA, CA — Caltrans is scheduled to start work Monday on a drainage systems project on state Highway 29 in the city of Napa.
A crew will spend about two weeks removing trees from the project area, which starts a 10th of a mile north of the First Street Overcrossing and ends a 10th of a mile south of the Trancas Street Overcrossing.
Lane closures will affect the on- and off-ramps at Lincoln Avenue. The work will be done overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. to minimize traffic impacts, according to a traffic advisory from Ryan Leong, a Bay Area spokesperson for Caltrans.

Following the tree removal, the contractor will install temporary concrete barriers —k-rails—and crash cushions, and close the northbound shoulder of SR-29 within the project limits.
Leong expects construction of the drainage project to continue through December 2025.
