Elusive Napa Suspect Surrenders: Cops

A suspect sought by police over the past month was arrested Sunday, authorities said.

NAPA, CA — A suspect sought by authorities over the past month is finally in custody, Napa police said.

Juan Vasquez was arrested on unspecified charges Sunday during a traffic stop, police said.

Vasquez is on Post Release Community Supervision and has been identified as the suspect in multiple violent crimes, police said.

Vasquez was seen in the passenger seat of a blue Mini Cooper, police said.

“Over the past month, there have been multiple attempts to apprehend Juan Vasquez,” the agency said on its Facebook page.

“Juan has fled from Police on foot and in multiple stolen vehicles.”
