Fatal Crash Reported South Of Napa
A Vallejo man died at the scene of the crash on state Highway 221, according to the California Highway Patrol.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — A 30-year-old Vallejo man died Wednesday afternoon in a solo vehicle crash south of Napa, according to the California Highway Patrol. The man was driving a 2008 Chevrolet south on State Highway 221 south of Napa Valley Corporate Way in unincorporated Napa County around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday when he drove off the west side of the road and struck a utility pole, CHP officials said.
A 33-year-old Vallejo man riding in the Chevrolet suffered minor injuries and was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
