Firefighters Contain 3-Acre Brush Fire Near Lake Berryessa
Cal Fire responds to early morning blaze.

By Bay City News Service
A brush fire charred about 3 acres near Lake Berryessa in Napa County overnight, a Cal Fire spokesman said.
The fire was reported around midnight east of the Monticello Dam, Cal Fire spokesman Michael Selmi said.
The blaze was controlled at about 2 a.m., and crews were still mopping up mid-morning.
The fire shut down the eastbound lanes of state Highway 128, and one-way traffic control was in effect. The lanes have since been reopened.
Firefighters from Winters and the Napa County Fire Department station in Capell Valley also responded to the blaze.
