Freeze Watch For Napa Valley Issued By NWS

Here's the timing for covering your sensitive plants.

NAPA VALLEY, CA — If you have sensitive plants, including many citrus trees, you may need to cover them or bring them inside, along with pets.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for much of the Bay Area, including Napa Valley. The watch goes into effect overnight Tuesday and continues through Thursday morning.

In Napa Valley, temps are expected to get within a few degrees of freezing with patchy frost likely Wednesday morning.

Looking ahead to the weekend, up to an inch of rain may fall in parts of the Bay Area between Friday and Sunday. The forecast will come into sharper focus as the weekend approaches.
