Fright Night At Napa Theatre As Man Slashes Screen
An apparently intoxicated movie-goer jumps on stage during a showing of Deadpool and begins slashing the screen with a broken bottle.

NAPA - The synopsis of the new movie Deadpool says a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary has newly-accelerated healing powers, adopting the alter ego Deadpool.
Century Theatre moviegoers in Napa Friday night might have wanted Deadpool to step out of the movie and onto the stage to combat an apparently inebriated man who began slashing at the screen during a late night showing of the film.
According to the Napa Valley Register, Gregory Nicholson, 36, of Napa allegedly smashed a bottle of liquor inside the theater, then ran to the front, slashing at the screen. The Register quotes Napa Police Sgt. Nick Dalessi, who says patrons ran out of the theatre - some without their belongings - when the intoxicated man jumped up on stage.

Police detained Nicholson behind the theater at Hartle Court Apartments, according to the Register. He was booked at Napa County jail on suspicion of vandalism, public intoxication and a probation violation.
The paper says the estimated cost of the damage to the movie screen is more than $6,000.
