Man Charged With Murder In Woman's Killing: Napa Police

NAPA, CA — A Napa man was arrested in connection with the killing of a woman Sunday in the city, according to police.

Ernie Victor Solis, 40, was located after a warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of murder, assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence with injury, police said Tuesday.

Officers responded around 10:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of a woman who had died in the 4300 block of Dale Drive, police said. They arrived to find the victim, who was later pronounced deceased, according to police.

On Sunday, police said they had identified the killer but he was not in custody, nor was he believed to be in Napa.

Police also said the incident appeared to be isolated with no threat to public safety.
