Man Disappears While Awaiting Sentencing In Napa County
Authorities are searching for Antonio Roman-Vega, 39, convicted of multiple assaults of a minor with intent to commit rape.

NAPA COUNTY, CA —Authorities in Napa County are searching for a man who disappeared in November while awaiting sentencing on a 25-year term for multiple counts of assault of a minor with intent to commit rape.
Antonio Roman-Vega, 39, is wanted by Napa County Probation. His GPS monitoring device was last detected Nov. 8 in Earlimart, just north of Delano, and is believed to be in the middle of a retaining pond. Tulare County sheriff’s deputies searched the area but did not find him.
His black Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck was spotted in Delano on March 10—some four months after his disappearance.
