Napa Co. Measures C, D: Private Heliports, Airports; Tree Removal
Voters are deciding June 5, 2018 on two Napa County measures: D, personal heliport and airport use; and C, water quality buffer zones.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Voters in Napa County are deciding Tuesday on two measures regarding personal use of heliports and airports and establishing water quality buffer zones that would limit tree removal. Measure D would eliminate personal use of airports and heliports in zones other than Airport districts.
The current Napa County Code allows personal use of airports and heliports in most zoning districts with a use permit. The personal use is limited to non-commercial activity of an individual, family or guest.
The current code also allows helicopter landings in support of direct agricultural production activities such as aerial spraying and frost protection in most zoning districts without a use permit.
