Napa County Voter Turnout, Latest Election Results
Here's the latest on the Board of Supervisors race, local measures, and potentially, a record-low voter turnout.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Early indicators showed voter turnout in this week's presidential primary in Napa County may have been at or near record lows, Napa County Registrar of Voters John Tuteur said.
Tuteur referred to the first report of the night, published at 8:01 p.m. by the Registrar's Office. The report contained the results for 14,336 — 17.2 percent — of the 83,555 ballots mailed to voters Feb. 5. The ballots were either returned by mail, placed in one of the county's 11 drop boxes or dropped off at a vote center through Saturday.
"This first report contains approximately 40 to 45% percent of our projected turnout which indicates that overall turnout could be at or near record lows," Tuteur said.

Although this year's California primary was moved up from June to Super Tuesday in March with 13 other states, Tuteur pointed out there were several earlier California March elections.
"We even had one in February one Presidential Primary year," Tuteur said.

The second report of the night represented approximately 200 additional in-person ballots from vote centers that were counted on Election Night starting at 8 p.m. That second report was released at 9:57 p.m. and represented 14,683 ballots and 17.57 percent voter turnout.
The third and final report of the night was released at 11:17 p.m. and represented 15,304 ballots and 18.32 percent voter turnout.
The next report is not expected until Friday in the late afternoon.
"I hope to have several thousand additional ballots in that Friday count," Tuteur said.
Further counts are scheduled on Monday, March 11, Tuesday, March 12, and Wednesday, March 13, or until 95 percent of all ballots received have been counted.
The final certified count will be released the week of March 25.
