Napa Man Arrested On Suspicion Of 'Brutally' Beating His Aunt
The woman sustained severe head and facial trauma and told deputies that she was attacked by her nephew.
NAPA, CA — Deputies in Napa arrested a man accused of severely beating his 63-year-old aunt on Wednesday, officials announced.
Around 12:50 a.m. on July 16, detectives from the Napa County Sheriff's Department were sent to the 2100 block of Sandra Drive in Napa, where a woman had called 911, the department said.
Upon arrival, deputies found the woman bleeding and physically assaulted. The woman had been "brutally" beaten, deputies said, sustaining severe head and facial trauma.

She told police she was attacked by her nephew, who was also inside the house when deputies arrived, according to the department.
Detectives arrested 37-year-old Domingo Parra of Napa. According to responding deputies, he admitted to punching his aunt several times. Parra was taken to Napa County's Department of Corrections. He is being held without bail on suspicion of the following felony crimes: attempted murder, false imprisonment, assault likely to produce great bodily injury and mayhem.
