Napa Man Identified By Police As Vallejo Homicide Victim

The Napa resident was shot July 17, Vallejo police said.

NORTH BAY, CA — Vallejo police have identified a man who died in a hospital after he was found shot earlier this month as Richo Richardson, 36, of Napa. Police responded to a report of a possible shooting victim around 9 p.m. on July 17 at Baylor Drive and Corcoran Avenue.

Officers found Richardson suffering from a gunshot wound and he was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later, police said.

Police have not released any other details about the homicide.

Richardson was identified in an obituary as Richo O. Crouch-Richardson II, 36, a native of McComb, Mississippi.
