Napa Residents Report Prowler But It Was Just A Man On A Roof
Having a total stranger on your roof is normal... right?
NAPA, CA -- Would you be alarmed if there was a complete stranger on your roof? Napa residents were apparently shaken early Wednesday after they saw a man on a home roof.
The incident was reported around 12:30 a.m. near Randolph and Oak Streets, according to the Napa Police Department. Police said multiple residents called to say a prowler could be heard and seen on the roof.
At the same time, police received another call of a man being chased by a group of men in a car.

Police investigated the incidents and found out the man on the roof was hiding from the men in the car.
After brief interviews (and apparently, a couple snapshots), it was determined the man "thought the roof was a good place to hide", police said.

"The homeowner requested the man not come back to the property," Napa police said on Facebook. "The subject was taken to a safe location."
