Conference, sponsored and hosted by Napa Valley College, starts week of July 28.

Gott's Roadside and Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company in St. Helena are supporting this year's Napa Valley Writers' Conference, which launches the week of July 28.
The conference, sponsored and hosted by Napa Valley College, is celebrating its 33rd year.
On Tuesday, July 30, Gott's Roadside will donate a percentage of revenues to the conference from orders placed between 4 p.m. and closing time at 10 p.m. at its St. Helena location, 933 Main St.
The Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company will donate a percentage of receipts collected Wednesday, July 31, at its St. Helena location, 1400 Oak Ave. (at Adams St.). A custom writers' conference coffee blend will be available for purchase.
Customers who want their orders included should mention the writers' conference or present event flyers, which are available for download and printing at napawritersconference.org.
The Napa Valley Writers’ Conference is now in its 33rd year as one of the nation’s most prestigious summer writing programs.
Donations will fund grants that enable participation for talented writers who would otherwise be unable to attend. Past recipients of conference grants have gone on to great acclaim, including 2011 participant Ayana Mathis, whose debut novel The Twelve Tribes of Hattie was featured on Oprah Winfrey's Book Club 2.0.
