The Los Angeles suspect, already on probation for identity theft, was arrested and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections on multiple theft and drug-related allegations.

Judge pauses Napa double-murder case to review hundreds of jail calls (mercurynews.com) — A Napa County judge has temporarily halted proceedings in a high-profile double-homicide case involving the 2024 shootings of two young women on Riverside Drive in Napa. Attorneys now must review hundreds of recorded jail calls linked to a key witness, delaying the preliminary hearing for the two remaining murder defendants while evidence and credibility issues are sorted out.
   

5. Napa County supervisors extend CEO Ryan Alsop's contract through 2029 (pressdemocrat.com) — Napa County’s Board of Supervisors has unanimously extended County Executive Officer Ryan Alsop’s contract through the end of 2029, signaling strong confidence in his leadership. Alsop, on the job since August 2023, is credited with boosting employee morale, improving service delivery, and launching a strategic roadmap focused on service, inclusion, sustainability, and land protection for Napa County residents.
