Patients Trapped In Yountville Crash, Rushed To Hospitals

Major injuries were reported in the collision on Highway 29 near California Drive.

NAPA VALLEY, CA — Major injuries were reported Friday morning in a collision between two Honda sedans in Yountville.

The crash happened at 5:48 a.m. on northbound Highway 29, just south of California Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two patients became trapped in the wreckage and were extricated by Cal Fire/Napa County Fire, then rushed to local hospitals by AMR ambulance, according to Cal Fire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit.
